This painting is inspired by big and beautiful creatures that live far away. One can only imagine how their day-to-day routine looks like. I suppose it involves some napping, hunting and aurora borealis watching.

At the same time I wanted to hint, that the ice is disappearing, and the polar bears' home is shrinking.

I used the bluish & white colors to create a contrast, between the bear and its surrounding. I added yellow light, to keep the color pattern more attractive.
