24x20 in ~ Painting, Oil
I was thinking of the Australian Fires of 2020, and how many animals we had lost. I hope they left us for heaven, where they will continue to exist.
It took me two months on and off to complete this painting. I sanded the face twice and painted over it. I needed a sad, but calm facial expression. Because, who knows what is going on anyway, and how life supposed to unfold. Think of the dinosaurs.
I played with blue and pink colors to counterweight each other. I used my usual wavy and swirly shapes to express a movement in a stationary image.
I would love this painting to remind the viewer to be gentle to everyone.
