I wanted to paint a little creature, who stays alone, and dreams of wild adventures and beautiful places.
My dreamer is a hyena, a misrepresented and misunderstood creature, just like most dreamers are.
I used Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue, to create a contrast between the main character and its background. I painted dark grey clouds, and a piece of blue sky, to create a feeling of hope.
This artwork is one of a kind. Made with high-quality professional oil paint on a gallery wrapped canvas. Painting is signed / dated on both front and back. Painted sides, unframed and ready to hang.
